Our story
Ana’s journey began in London, where she studied Illustration and Fashion Design. It was there that she first explored live illustration at events - initially in a very organic way, but quickly met with an enthusiastic response.
What started as a simple idea grew naturally. Guests were drawn to the experience - the immediacy of a portrait, the emotion it captured, and the way it became a tangible memory to take home. It was this connection that shaped the direction Ana chose to follow.
After returning to Portugal, she dedicated herself to refining this concept, collaborating with event planners and brands, and developing an approach centered on simplicity, closeness, and attention to detail.
As demand continued to grow, so did the need to expand. What began as a one-person service evolved into something bigger - a carefully curated team of artists, allowing the experience to be offered at a larger scale while maintaining the same quality and personal touch.
It was during this phase that Inês joined the project, taking on the management and operational side of the business. Together, they built HiSketch - an agency of illustrators that brings this unique experience to events around the world. Today, they lead a team of talented artists who share the same vision: to create meaningful, elegant, and unforgettable live experiences for every event.
