Ana began her journey in London, where she studied Illustration and Fashion Design. It was there that she started exploring live illustration at events — initially in a very organic way, but quickly met with an enthusiastic response.
What started as a simple idea grew naturally. Guests were drawn to the experience — the immediacy of the portrait, the emotion it captured, and the way it became a physical memory to keep. It was this connection that defined the path Ana chose to follow.
Upon returning to Portugal, she dedicated herself to developing and refining this concept, collaborating with event planners and brands, and building an approach centered on simplicity, closeness, and attention to detail.
As demand grew, so did the need to expand. What began as an individual service evolved into a broader structure — a carefully selected team of artists, allowing this experience to reach more events while always maintaining the same quality and personal touch.
It was at this point that Inês joined the project, taking on its management and coordination. Together, they created HiSketch — an illustration agency that brings this unique experience to events around the world.
Today, they lead a team of artists who share the same vision: to create elegant, memorable, and truly unique live experiences for every event.
